In 2020 MedicineAfrica was awarded the Tech4Good Africa award for our 10 year programme connecting healthcare experts in the UK with medical, nursing and midwifery students in Somaliland. We’ve grown from being a handful of connections between UK tutors and Somaliland students and healthworkers to now being a core part of the curriculum at the 3 most prestigious medical universities; teaching to 3 years of students as well as running postgraduate masters training in association with KCL
